An online holistic health and fitness program that combines physical therapy, corrective exercise, functional mobility and strength training, as well as nutrition counseling. Our team develops unique programs that can be completed in as little as 15 minutes each day to help people heal from injuries and prevent future ones. Our goal is to connect recurring and chronic injuries to functional health and fitness, as well as educate our clients on how to maintain it for life!

We pair 1-on-1 video consultation sessions with all of our clients, as well as customized mobility and exercise plans that are linked to step-by-step videos. We also include group coaching in our program by means of daily video conferences that everyone at Health By Ratio can join.

We begin with a range of safe and functional movement tests and range of motion evaluations that are based on the goals you're trying to achieve, the activities you engage in frequently, and your planned future endeavors.


Along with this, we go through all of your feedback so that you know what's causing your body to move the way it does and where potential compensations or imbalances may be coming from.


Finally, we develop a game plan for you on what particular mobility and exercise techniques you'll need to achieve your health goals and ultimately return to the level of health and fitness you desire!

CAN PHYSICAL THERAPY HELP WITH SCIATICA AND LUMBAR PAIN?

Sciatica and lumbar injuries are one of the most common and severe pains we may experience.

​

Personally, it was something I had to put up with for years while driving or sitting down for more than 20-30 minutes, making it difficult to drive in beautiful LA traffic that takes 9 hours for every 10 miles traveled.

​

It's also something that my team and I have helped a large number of our clients with.

​

For others, it's a problem to sit; for others, it's when they go for a walk for too long or attempt to sleep.

​

No matter where throughout their day they are impacted the most, we all come from a similar experience, since they believe that they have tried everything to be healthy. They come to us often after they feel like they have done everything possible to get well:

TIME TO ASSESS

When these methods don't work, it's time to look at what is going on above and below the spine and/or hips to see what is impacting our core's ability to keep us steady.

​

The causes for me were a combination of what was going on in my feet, ankles, and hips, which caused an over-arching of my lumbar vertebrae and compression of my hip capsules.

​

For others, it's about their thoracic spine and shoulder girdle being excessively compressed and rolled forward, resulting in a loss of natural lumbar scoliosis curvature and a posterior pelvic tilt.

​
